The Election Race is On!!

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls welcome to the Election Circus in this blessed country of Guyana. I invite you to buckle your seat belts, put on your ear plugs, grab a soda and get ready for this exciting race which is now notoriously know in Guyana. It's Elections Time again!

Introducing the Teams:
Lane 1: Team PPP/C with it's traditional Red Black and Gold Colours (why the white and green are excluded?) and a recovered banner: "A Brighter Future for ALL". This team promises a lot of surprises. The team also has a website - www.votepppc.com. It looks like one of the US presidential canidate's website layout.

Lane 2: Team PNC/R -1G. This team looks more reformed in it's designs, banners and even team song. My guess is that they are really into technology this time round. They too have a website www.guyanapnc.org but this is where the technology stuff ends. All the best!

Lane 3: Team AFC. That's it guys. No slashes "/" or dashes "-". They are the new team on the track this year. They have some really fancy colors and their logo features a key and the map of Guyana - "Unlocking Guyana's Future". From that i interpret that Guyana's Future was locked up! I wouldn't say more. And they too have a very informative website: www.afcguyana.com. It must be noted that with the short time since they really have the crowd roaring!!! Tthis race could be a close finish.

Lane 4: Team JFAP. Man by the look at this team, it looks like this race can be run by anyone who wants to win. I really can't tell u their specific colors nor their website. Somehow though everyone in the stand seem to know this team a lot!! Anyway guys, they would have made it very far to come to this racing today so do congratulate them. You can support them too.

Lane 5: Team TUF. By the name of this team alone, you should know that they're going to be one "tough" competitor. They have some fancy colors like team AFC and tough they are not drawing so many applauses from the main stands, they have some Amerindian fellows just behind me that are excited about them. And just to inform you, they have a website too www.tufsite.com. I must say their website is reasonablyt fast and is done much better than ... Nevermind that, that's not going to help win this race.

And that's it folks, the other teams have decided to remain calm so though they are around, they choose not to have their presence felt. I can't blame them.

As i did say before, there race is going to be close ... Buckle up, the bell is about to be sounded. Oh no! there's a false start and must be called back. Looked unfair there if that was an official bell. Everyone is in place now, the croud is shouting, the horses are restless. The is about to be fired, everyone is now tense. Bang!!!
Bang!!!

The crowd ducks for cover ... but it was not a criminal at large, to their dismay the race had started and they all missed the start, except for the folks behind me.
